Need to purchase the bottom/base of a treadle frame. I have a Rotary White sewing machine and need to find the leg/stand /treadle. It doesn't have to have drawers etc. I would even take one without a top. Could have a board put on and cut to fit the machine. I think any brand would work as long as it has the frame, legs, treadle part and the wheel. I live in Southeast KS and would consider driving to pick up in MO, OK, KS. Thanks.

Have you tried looking on Craigslist? It might be worth calling around to thrift shops and Goodwill in your area too. Maybe sewing machine dealerships; even if they don't have one in the store, they may know someone.

Keep looking on Craigslist.

I have tried Craigslist and in my community there isn't much activity there. I am telling about everyone I know that I am looking-it will come I hope. Thanks for the ideas.

wish I had known on Friday, could have had a singer stand only with drawers and plywood top for $10, OR the entire machine, base, etc, missing only the bobbin cover for $75!

I see them on Craigslist, quite often, but you need to keep checking weekly. You could also expand your Craigslist search but looking in area CL cities. I've found lots of good sewing machine deals on the Boston CL and Boston isn't really close to me but some of the people advertising on it do live closer to me. Good luck on your search.
