Any ideas on quilting a Warm Wishes top. It's in fall colors and I plan to use a leaf template for the large 'leafy' blocks but what to do in the other blocks?---the ones that look something like a Rail Fence--block size is 9". Colors are dark red, dark 'rusty' brown and very light green in the center strip. I can't do free-motion quilting and I don't want to do SID. I could do outline quilting but would like something different. I'd appreciate any help from you guys. Thank you.

The ones that I have made are crib size. The pattern suggested that you diagonallly quilt through the alternate blocks and tie the rail fence one in the middle.

I just finished one for a wedding and I quilted diagonally through the solid middle blocks.

I just finished one as a gift and I came down the "ditch" at the edges of the block with a wavy stitch.
