Don't let this happen to you!! Especially the newbies, (like me.)

From now on I will daily: pick up, pet, caress, and talk to my DSR (dear seam ripper) !! This is "quality time" with DSR.

Little did I know just how neglected she was feeling. The poor little thing had figure out a way to bring this to my attention. I don't know how she managed it, but she attacked all these lovely blocks I am working on!! They were not square!!

So...while spending too much "quantity time" with her to take apart seams to square up the blocks.... Bingo! It dawned on me. If I don't want to put in the quantity, I've got to get the quality right!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

Have a nice day, Ladies.

They do manage to come around and haunt you especially if you are in a hurry to finish up something.

It seems to happen to me when I "think" I am really on a roll.

I am working on a log cabin quilt for my sister. I thought it would be easy. Guess again, working making block. Looks great, then WHOOPS. Did not follow around. Looked good but seam in the wrong place. Had to take my seam ripper who sits next to my sewing machine, and tenderly pull out seams

LOL It sounds like you visited me today, spent some time ripping out a border. Hope the seam ripper is happy now, and doesn't need more time with you. :-)
