I am working on my very first quilt. Everything was going well. I was attaching a sash on one side. Had it all marked and ready to go. Sat down and sewed away. After I took it off the machine and looked at it. It went from the two inches at the top and kept getting smaller and smaller as i went down the row. Bottom was about a 1/2 inch. So much for measuring. I thought it was so funny. Time to get the ripper out.

Ha Ha! Put another wonky sash on in the other direction and call it "artistic liberty".

Be sure to pin your sash at the top and bottom and in the middle so you don't stretch it when sewing it on!

that is what I would do, and then do something else artsy on the top and bottom ends. Let us see what it looks like when you are done.

I agree with yayaquilts concerning pinning. Also, when desperate - fabric glue - lol!
