My wife and I attended a quilt show on Saturday in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The Bluegrass Quilt Festival, it was their first show and was quite nice. My wife and I both did the Shop Hop as we went thru the show. As we left I ran my hand over the shop hop prize and said "we will be back for you...I have a table ready for you to come home too"...the lady sitting there just laughed. Sunday afternoon we got a call that we had won the Bernina Berdette 12. When we got there to pick the machine up at the close of the show...the lady who heard me say we would be back for it, couldn't believe we had won and was pretty spooked about it...The Bernina is nice but we may trade it in for a larger machine with embroidery.

that is so cool, congrats (I rarely win stuff, amazingly I won the 50/50 draw at the bowling league last saturday, now I would be in heaven to win something like a sewing machine, quilt, fabric, etc.

(heck I get excited when I win a free fries from McDonalds)

LOL I won free fries today and it was difficult to not turn around and shout out at hubby that I won fries... I will surprise him later hehe

(should have seen me at bowling... better yet, count yourself lucky you didn't) I literally jumped and waved the ticket in the air... I was one happy camper (was $31 which I then used to treat us and the kids to a late dinner and other misc items, after which I thought... OMG I could have got fabric with that!!)

    Sigh... I will learn eventually
