Will be working on my mystery train #8 and probably also on a tote for a friend.
She loved the lining fabric of the one I just finished for my DD who of course suggested since I still had some of that fabric she needed one for her dotera (sp?) oils, didn't she. Gotta love my DD!

Isn't it funny how so many of the older ones have more than one name? I have always called this Hole in the Barn Door.

thank you. I'm scrap busting, but I intentionally left out the color blue.
I love the quilt in your avatar.

I'll be working on my 2015 BOM blocks for January, so my sister and I can meet and pick up our February blocks. We have snow on the ground here this morning, so I won't be going out for anything; not even to my sewing room. I have a block-sewing and cutting area set up here in the house, so I'll be there most of the day. Maybe some cooking, I am kinda hungry for lasagna.....

Having just finished vacuuming b/c of two Labradors and tidying up the house, I'm heading to the sewing room to work on several quilts I have going. Two service quilts and one jelly roll, The Shenandoah Valley, to get its borders on. A dreary, rainy, ice-probable day here in the mid-Shenandoah Valley. I belong to a quilting bee that meets several times a month. We sew beautiful and well-make charity quilts and we'll be donating them to a safe house in need. We take pride in the work we do and we present these fine gifts to cheer up a saddened heart.

I have 3 projects going at the same time, just in case I should get bored. A floral scrap king size quilt, just squares really trying to get to the bottom of a box of floral fabric, machine quilting a baby scraps quilt and the hand applique border (#3) to my Baltimore quilt.

I'm slowly making my way through the house, cleaning Everything of dust after our bath remodel. What a mess. What a pretty bathroom.

For stitching I'm adding the last 8-10 english paper piecing pieces to the edge of my
La Passacaglia quilt from the book Millefiori Quilts by Willyne Hammerstein
This image is from back in December.
Next is to choose the border fabric and applique down those odd edges.

Life is good
