how exciting! If you're like me, my head would be spinning... reading the manual... wanting to play on it and then figuring out which quilt top to FMQ first (I have two that need quilting). Have a ball....

I got a great tip from the dealer (I have the Tiara II also). On their website they say the bobbin should stand up in your hand but you shouldn't be able to pull it up off your palm. That was waaaaaaaaay too loose for the thread I was using: Superior Bottom Line. The dealer said to try tightening the bobbin case until you could suspend it in mid-air, then with a slight bounce of your wrist, it should drop about an inch or so. It worked perfect! I could even use a different color in the top and back, with no pokies.

You will love your machine. I have so much more freedom to FMQ and enjoy experimenting with different fillers now. My previous machine only had a 6 1/2" throat !

Congratulations, sounds like it has many wonderful features. Love the idea of a bobbin indicator. Enjoy your new machine.
