I'm envious of your Creative Grids 6x24 ruler. Oh, how I would love to have that one!!!!

Woo Hoo for you..........................
We were recently in Washington state on vacation and had the unexpected surprise of a free local quilt show in Ocean Shores, Wa.. It is always interesting to see what people are doing in another area of the country. It also inspires us to get busy and fulfills a need to fondle fabric when far from home and limited in what to bring with you when flying to a destination.
How fun!! Happy you! The hand quilting is what draws and amazes me too.

Sew little time and sew many ideas
My best friend and I are headed to the quilt show here in ATL this Thursday. Can't wait to see what new goodies they have. And I surely will be adding my name to the door prize bowl!
Hooray for you. I am so happy for you. It seems to me that there are a lot of quilters on here from N.Carolina. Altho I live in the great PNW, my brother lives close to Murphy. Are any of you near there? He and his wife love it there and from what I see, it is quite beautiful.

Isn't it a wonderful surprise when you win. One year I won second prize in the church raffle, which was a twin-size red hand-made afghan, the quilt was the first prize, but the afghan is so warm and comfy and I've enjoyed it very much. The next month I went to my Guild's Dec. meeting where a Christmas quilt, made by many members of the Guild, and hand quilted - each block diferent from the others. Imagine my surprise when my name was called - I had to be told again that I had won it as I was busy doing one of my favorite things "visiting with quild members", quilting being the first one. Everyone told me to go out and get a Megabucks ticket, however, my luck only ran as far as the afghan and quilt, but they are prominently displayed every Christmas and each year I find something I hadn't noticed before. Congratulations on your prize and enjoy.
