Default What batting for a table cloth?

I have been asked to quilt a table cloth. It is whole cloth, both top and bottom are of cotton.

The person wants it to be very thin and drapable. I've not done a table cloth. Can someone give me a heads up on what I can use for the batting?

THanks in advance,
Dray

I have used a flannel sheet before and got just the right thickness and drape. I did wash it and dry it on high heat for shrinkage first.

I made a pieced table cloth. I am going to put a flannel sheet on the back.

I have made a pieced table cloth and used my usual bamboo batting. I think it hangs nicely and offers a little heat protection for the table. Anything thinner and the quilting may not be noticable

Cream white or cream rose are thin with great drape.
