Red face Happy...& Lucky

JoAnn's had a sale today (only for today) on poly batting. It was a 20 yd. bolt, reg. $99, on sale for $29.99. However, I didn't think I'd be able to get there as I had to work all day. There is a new gal at my office who I found out also quilts and we had talked about the upcoming sale. Well, she came in today with the bolt of batting and offered to split it with me! So, I ended up with 10 yds. of batting for $15. She said the clerk told her they only had four bolts available for the sale. ( I think that is a little ridiculous- to have a sale like that and only have 4 bolts to sell). But, LUCKY US!

The store in my town only had 2 rolls. My friend was able to snag one of them. It seemed decent enough for my charity quilts, 60" wide.

I went on line and could not order it there.

That was really nice of your co-worker! And how cool is it that you two have quilting in common. You can inspire each other.
