I use the Gingher and really like it. It does NOT automatically retract or cover the blade though. I think they are German?

I have two. Sis gave me one. I keep one in the sewing room and the other in the box that travels. I love them. Cannot think of having any other.

I have had several over the years and don't have a favorite.
    but another question?

    Do you use a 45mm or a 60mm?
I have always used a 45mm and thinking of getting the bigger cutter.
    any pros or cons??

I have 2 of the 45. The cost of buying a 60 and then having to buy blades I'm not sure its worth it.

Thought the Martelli cutter rang a bell Caroline.

I had already given you a link on 3 May where they were available in UK - and you said you had emailed them, and even been to the shop.

Dont understand why you now say they're not available in the UK?

perhaps when she emailed them, as she said she intended, they didn't carry the model she needs.

don't be offended by the repeat inquiry. it could be for any number of reasons.

    life is too short. ;-)
