I want to make a quilter bread/bun warmer, like this http://www.planetshoup.com/easy/sew/bunwarm.shtml I found instructions for one in a quilting book from the library and copied them, but now I can't find them...so I was going to improvise, but I'm not quite sure how! The block that was in the book had corners like on a snowball block (only I think they touched in the center). What are some blocks with corners like that?

And any suggestions on the finished block size (it's a one block piece) would be appreciated too! It's for a gift so I can't measure the dish that would be used for the rolls/bread!

From what it is sounding like that bun warmer is pretty much just two pieces of fabric sewn right sides together with a hole left for turning then filled with rice.... It didn't have anything sewn together other than the two pieces of fabric... were you wanting to make more of a bread basket with bun warmer??
