I tried the King Tut thread for piecing and have decided to stay with the Mettler silk finish thread. Does anybody know a good web site for Mettler threads? I googled it and didn't see any discount sites for it.

I tried Guttermann thread and liked it. It is strong and sews well in my machine, actually it sews better than the Mettler. AND, I can get it at Joann's.

I like the Red Star cotton thread for piecing and quilting and dressmaking - not for hand applique or hand quilting, but for pretty much everything else!
