Hey all... since there's such a wealth of info on this site...

Has anyone ever tried those velcro on, mini LED lights that stick onto the side of your machine, have a flexible 12" or so 'neck' and a LED light on the end? Someone recommended them to me, so I bought two.

I tried them, but they kept getting hung up on fabrics, or in the way of my hands as I worked, or they awkwardly hung down so as to block my view.

What am I doing wrong? Do you attach them to the side or the back of the machine? Or what?

I've been thinking about getting one, so I'll be anxious to see what feedback you get....so glad you asked the question.

I have the bendable light and I love it. I'm half blind. This light is great. It has little hooks to keep the cord out of the way. I haven't had any problem keep any part of it out of my way.

This is the one I have.

I have the same bendable light as Kathy. It's a VERY worthwhile investment. That is also a great price. I gave $39.95 for mine.

I have the bendable light and it works great for me. I have it on the side of my machine(s) and you can direct the light where it is needed. You can purchase more of the stitck on holders and place them all you sewing machines....the light itself will slip into the holder.

A friend of mine bought one for about $15 at Joann's and had nothing but trouble with it getting in the way. It's probably a question of which one you buy, I guess.

Since the built in light in my Pfaff doesn't work anymore I got the bendable light and love it! I have it stuck to the end of the machine.

I have a bendable one on the side of the machine but it kept bothering me so I used electrical tape and positioned it then taped it. It does fine now.

Okay... so where exactly did you stick it to? As in, where on your machine? Or did you keep it right there, but just tape down the er.. flexible neck part? I hadn't thought of that. Yikes, I'm such a dummy!

I bought one in Houston and just love it. The down side is I paid full price for it and then learned they are half price at Quilter Warehouse.
