What can I do with this fabric?

My grandaughter married a man from Bangladesh and she has given me these two yardages of fabric and asked me to do something with them. I have had them for about a year and haven't come up with anything. THey are 45" wide and 6 yards in length. THey were originally bought for the mother in law to use for their traditional dress.
Any ideas would be so appreciated. THey are not cotton.

I did, and have spent a lot of time trying to upload it, but now I don't know where it is.

If it is 6 yards long than it is meant to be a Sari...which is traditional dress. I have seen these lengths of fabric used as curtains or a waterfall of the fabric from the ceiling as a bed headboard.
Some of the fabrics are silk, others rayon or polyester. They can be sheer to be used as an overdress.
You could make a fancy skirt with the fabric, or maybe an overblouse with a tank top under.

I think one of these may be rayon and the other polyester. She had in mind some type of quilt of wall hanging. C.

Would either work as a whole cloth quilt?

Hi Carolyn - I also have a couple of sari fabrics. Mine are a damask-type bright orange that appears to be silk and a solid bright turquoise that may be a rayon or polyester. My plan is to make them into whole cloth quilts with heavy quilting because they're so beautifully colored.
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.
