Thanks all for the advice and for the compliments. This is only my third quilt, and I am pretty proud of it. Guess I'll be heading to a JoAnn's or two trying to find more of the pin dots, The original store was sold out. The red is really more of an orange, and to be honest, it is one of my favorites, so that may work if I can find more of it.......

I like the idea of a red inner border. It's jazzy enough to stand up to the other colors, without dominating the whole thing. It looks wonderful!

I kind of like the floating effect too, so often make a small inside border of the background fabric before bringing in other colors. The next border has many possibilities, but any of the bolder colors would be awesome!

I agree - or you could go with pindot border, small white border, a piano key border, another small white border and finally another pindot border on the outside.

Beautiful quilt. Which color would you like to highlight, lavender, aqua, red or blue? I think any of those would work.

I would do a very narrow black with small dots stop border, then aqua thenthe black. Aqua and black together are sostriking.........it is beautiful and you really can't go wrong!

I would use the same color as the sashing corners for a narrow ( as wide as the sashing) stopping border and then IMHO the aqua. It would add a vintage simple look to this great top.

Like it very much.
peace

EDIT: On second thought, The lavender!!!! for a second border
