Wednesday night DH spent most the nite puking his guts out...stayed home from work)something he NEVER does)--anyway within 48 hours he felt good enough to go out for dinner and take in a movie with me last nite. We had a gift card we hadnt used and I indulged in a steak, some pasta and even a glass of wine and dessert. I came home and wasnsitting with DH taking in the news when all of the sudden my stomach started hurting. He said the it couldn't be what he had gone thru since he hadn't any warning. I kinda thought it was the wine talking back to me--and after the news I headed to get ready for bed---NOT!!

After throwing my wonderful dinner up--I spent the nite up and down in the bathroom I have spent the day sleeping and wondering whether I should even consider eating I am feeling better but this is one of those things you say 'thanks sweetie---but no thanks!!'

I'm telling ya.....this "whatever it is" that is going around is hitting almost everyone. There were a few of the guys on hubbys ship have been getting sick like that. Doc on board has been telling them to go home and for 2 days eat the BRAT diet. Seems to have helped them.

You can also use that on dogs too, if they have upset stomachs. Just don't give them the bananas. Weird, huh?

My hubby had it lasted a couple days for him the worst was the taste of rotten eggs in his mouth. I called the clinic and they said that seemed to be a common thread with the current 'thing'.
