So, my DH and I were having lunch and I said, "I think I have a really good idea for a quilt!" He looked at me with those big brown eyes and said "Really? I'm just wondering how long it will take to actually quilt it once it's made."

Hmmmm....I think he's suggesting I have a problem with finishing projects. I really have NO idea what on earth he is talking about.

Sometimes the joy is in the planning and piecing!!! I too tend to let finished projects sit for a while before I get around to quilting them.

dh wouldn't dare say that to me. If he did I'd point out the unfinished painting in the dining room, the unfinished ceiling redo in the kitchen, the carpet in the entry that was supposed to be changed to wood a few years ago, the bathroom floor that still doesn't have the trim put on, etc etc and I could go on and on all day. DH has a problem with finishing projects that is much worse than the one I have (and yes, I have the same problem).

I like your profile pic. I like your quilt. I am making a quilt for "Quilts of Valor" Really like your pattern. Where can I get the pattern and what is the name? I have not seen this pattern.
