Okay, I admit it. I made my first ugly lap size quilt. Not quite sure what I did wrong. I liked the colors in my last quilt, so I used the scraps for this one. Did I hear someone ask to see a pic? Not a chance!

I know sooner or later a quilt is not going to turn out as imagined, so what did you do with yours?

Let my kids make a camp with it in their cubby.

I have one that I don't care for. It was a kit and there isn't enough variety of colors/scale, so it's very blah. I think some applique will spice it up, but for now, it's on the bottom of the pile. I've got prettier things screaming for my attention.

Donate it to charity.

Give to the kids or dogs

Send it to Jan for her soldiers in Afghanistan

My fur kids are not critical of my quilts. They get some made especially for them and all of the goof ups.

I give mine to the hospital for wheelchair people or nursing home. They love them

I have a very ugly one that I can't bring myself to finish. it has the backing on it only I did it wrong. I made more of a pillow case out of it. no batting in it yet. just can't seem to finish it. I even did some hand embroidery on it. It was the first one that I have ever started to make. here is a pic of it.

the green strip is also the backing. makes me dizzy looking at it.

I have a friend that runs a rescue. She is also a quilter and designs patterns, so she understands and can use them for their rescues, especially abused animals.
