What to do with 2 1/2" strips

If you were given 31 WOF 2 1/2" strips, all the same, what would you make with them? The fabric is a lavender paisley, with a grey, not quite pink, and not quite burgundy background.

Maybe combine with some solids/complimentary fabrics and make a jelly roll quilt?

Do you have any fabric in your stash that coordinates with it? With 64 strips, you can make a nice sized Rail fence quilt (around 56 by 63 without borders). This is using 4 8.5" strips per rail. Our guild puts a 5 inch border on them for charity quilts, They come out about 65 by 72 inches. Have fun with them!!!!

Make a log cabin block with a neutral - white, beige or black for the other half.

rail fence is a nice one, I also just finished a "Surprise Inside" kind of like a square in square. It is all spread out on my dining room table and resting on my throat space as I try to get up the courage to FMQ it on my DM...

For the past two years I have been buying a jelly roll for a big quilt I want to make for the bedroom - possibly wider and longer than a kingsize. I buy them only when I am on vacation with my sister and her family, and I have gotten them as gifts. So, I bought them and received them in the color of my bedroom - teal blue and pink, so I am fussy there. But I have three quilts to finish, one more to make from scratch and then I can start on my Strip Quilt. Really looking forward to it. I will be able to look at it and tell exactly where I got them and from whom.

Another reason I do not like acronyms - what is a DM? Edie

I am new to QAG so I have collected 4 different, but similar colors, jelly rolls and some larger pieces for borders, to make a sort of rail fence design, one quilted block at a time. I found an easy for me way to put them together and l the first one (as I was learning) only took a couple weeks from beginning to gifted. Can't beat that. When I do start the next one I am going to post a tutorial on this board if anyone wants to try the easy method I developed for me.

I would love to see your tutorial on QAYG. I am really hoping to make one this way, and am thankful for any help and inspiration I can get! I will be on the lookout for it! BTW, if you could put QAYG in the thread title, that would make it very easy to find, I think. Looking forward to it!
