I think this would be an easy and can be a very pretty quilt to make. Go for it. Do you know what colors that you want to use?

I love to make quilts that have lots of colors and different fabrics in them. I think this could be quite beautiful as a "scrappy" quilt. Just remember to try and keep your values the same as on the pattern. Such as a light and dark 4 patch and your rails would be in value order.

Dear Sunnyhope, NY Nancy mentioned a fabric supplier that shipped overseas on a different thread (Frustrated with chain Qs in my area):

About international shipping from http://www.favoritefabric.com ... you'll be interested to know that they also insure all their international packages, "just in case". I'm not sure that's true of all online shops!

I hope this helps. I have also ordered from Hancocks of Paducah, they ship overseas.

Cute pattern. Or even simpler is using the rail fence for the entire quilt. It's looks nice too I think!

I like that pattern, whether you are a beginner or not. It looks like it would be pretty forgiving if it's not perfect. I say go for it. I'd go with monochromatic, different shades of the same color, and I think any color would work up nicely. Good luck!
