when you have 7 different fabrics that are about 1 fat quater each (some are more but the smallest piece of fabric i got is about a fat quater)? i thought of making 4inch blocks of each and separate them by this cream sashing (sorry i dont know what the pattern might be called). Could this work? im just at a loss but i love the fabric. I got it from my mom when i visited. The colors are various light brown/oranges/yellows/cream/greens.

You could make a Yellow Brick Road quilt with 6 fat quarters.

Do a search for fat quarter friendly patterns on google or the net or shoot even here. There are some very nice patterns out there for this amount of fabric. Sometimes when I am looking for one I find so many that I can't decide.... :)

Those were my thoughts also... You could also search for a fat quarter wall quilt pattern.
