I will be giving a try at hand quilting a wall hanging. How do I start? I don't know anything about quilting a design. I want to hand quilt a design on the border and throughout. Any step by step help, and idea of where to find a pattern to quilt would be great. Thanks in advance.

Up North, thank you for this link. It is a great site - I am going to use it often. I am a beginner, and it had some great tips - especially for hand quilting.

You are welcome, I am fairly new to quilting just one year now and I hand quilt all my quilts. It takes practice but you will get better as you go. I still have uneven stitches but I can say I did it myself!!lol Everything I learned about it was off the net just surfing around. There are lots of good tips on the web. Good Luck but most of all have fun!
