Question Quilted Slippers

Have you ever made quilted slippers? I have a pattern called Snappy Slippers and it looks like the fabric is sewn like a string quilt type pattern on a foundation. I have had it over a year now and each time I get it out and look at it I put it back thinking it looks too complicated. I am wondering if it is one of those projects that you have to just jump in and follow step by step for it to make sense.

I really like those slippers so I did a search for the pattern. Here is what I found.

Hope this helps you.

Those look like they would be fairly easy to do if you just follow step by step.

Dottie, Thank you!! This is exactly what I need! I like the way the slippers look but each time I would read through the instructions I would end up putting them on the shelf and not doing them.

I did a whole bunch of slippers for Christmas one year. I put denim on the bottom to extend their wear but now we all just wear our inside crocs. I love my crocs!

I have the pattern and made several pair. It is really easy once you make a pair. I would suggest doing a sample first, not using your most cherished fabric. Use scraps, really!

Read the pattern and read it again and again as you assemble. Easy to follow instructions. Have fun.
