Thread: What do you think is coming down the pike?

I wish they would make some of these cutting devises more reasonably priced for us old ladies that are pursuing this hobby on a fixed income. I've seen some things that are new "inventions" and I think, "Why didn't I think of that!!?" Some of them are so simple and clever and wonderful to use!

Maybe a machine that holds a full spool of thread in the bobbin. I would love that one as I hate it when I always run out at a critical time.

I'd like a hand-held scanner that will scan the fabrics I have in perfect color resolution. I could then take the scanner along in my purse for whenever I go to the fabric store. I'd scan different fabrics (say, reds) and be able to see at glance what I already have or what would coordinate with it.

Oh, the scanner would also measure my fabric without my having to unfold/unroll it.
