Today i spent the morning finishine 2 Quilt for Kids quilts and was feeling great about my progress. So then i decided to start my GS Blues Clues quilt. I got halfway thru with all the cutting and realized I SCREWED UP!!! My pieces are ALL wrong! So then i figured i would just make a different set of blocks. By the time i finished cutting again it was 8:15! So i shut all the lights off and left it all on my sewing table and here i am. I cannot believe i could not measure a nine patch block with a pinwheel block and 1/2 triangles. So tonight i am just going to read the message board and hope tomorrow is a better sewing day!!! Thanks for letting me vent

Some days are just like that. You will find a way to make it work. Just enjoy the process:)

That's when you close the door and walk away for a while.
Tomorrow will be better.

Know the feeling! Some days it's just time to find something else to do.

I hate days like that, you just feel like a moron, so discouraging. It might not be so bad if you have money running out your ears and it's no big deal to buy more fabric. Rest well tonight and hit it again tomorrow-and everything will fall into place just fine.

I think that means another quilt is down the line to use up the "design from the last one". It gives you a great opportunity to be creative and figure out away to use that set of triangles, squares and fabric. I love it and can't wait to see what you do with it!!! Good Luck, 4js
