Welcome to the Quilting Board!

My mother-in-law was viewing quilts that were being auctioned of for the West Texas Rehab Center in Abilene TX. In the quilt's summary statement it said, "One Needle". What exactly does that mean? Does anybody know? I'm curious too!
I have not heard that term before... now you have me curious :D:D:D
I googled and this is what I found:
(Each quilt is referred to as a "one-needle quilt," since only one woman quilts an entire piece.)
Curious, not heard of that term before. Hope someone has an answer.
Interesting! Thanks for the info!Originally Posted by Sadiemae

It sounds like a term the Amish use. I thought maybe it was when just one woman does the quilting.
Thats neat new info again
thank you for the info. I had never heard that saying before.
