The regular tissue paper like for wrapping gifts are just as nice and cheaper. The sheets are 20x30 so you can get 6 10" sheets off those. I use those also. Cheap at dollar store.
Jenny has a great tutorial for making strip pieced blocks on MSQC - I've seen some really beautiful quilts using those papers. Think of it as a challenge for yourself.
