If you can think of anything for the sitter and her hubby that'd be great too. Thanks!!!
I always buy Little People by Fisher Price for this age level. Some sets are under $10. They have like a truck or tractor and a man to drive it. There are also stuff for younger kids. And they are safe as they make round edges. I should know as we have a shed full left over from our grandkids.

How about fleece. I got a rubber ducky fleece and a matching fleece solid back sewed them right sides together, turned them right side out and grid stitched. Done in no time.

You guys have such great ideas. Thank you. I'm not sure exactly what I'm gonna do for them yet, but love the lego bag, cuz' they are really into legos. That would be perfect. Thanks for all the ideas!!!

Beanie Baby price - bought one for $1 at a garage sale a few weeks ago. All appeared unused - still had fresh tags - whole table was $1 each.

I would have paid up to $2 maybe.

As the mom of three boys...and three girls, I found that with the boys in mind, if you can't run with it and it doesn't make noise and you can't takae it apart, then its no good for boys. Super heroe caps are good because they can run with them. My boys loved those little Hot Wheel cars. We had them everywhere.

I made these for a bunch of friends' babies, they LOVED them - just 6 charms and some ribbons sewn into a block and stuffed. You could stuff it with a bell or something too, for more entertainment. It would be great for the baby, and they're really quick to put together.
