I don't know what happened to the link, but I called Quilts and More magazine and a Nancy Singh PROVIDED me with a legit link and told me I could post a LINK to the pattern, but not d/l and pass the pattern around (which I didn't do).

Here's a link to the Creme Brulee pattern that I posted this morning with the permission of Nancy Singh. She directed me to THIS pattern telling me the Creme Brulee is a variation of the "Rail Fence". The rest is easy to figure out if you just LOOK at the photos posted. People were sharing information so maybe someone printed part of the actual pattern directions.

Rail Fence in pink (printed with permission)

There is another link in here right now with a photo of the Creme Brulee pattern and you'll see from looking at that photo what needs to be modified on the Rail Fence to make it a Creme Brulee.

I don't want to get in trouble.. so.. just go look.. and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Hugs..

Felicia

For all the talk on this board today about this pattern - put in Quilts and More Summer 2009 in your search engine of choice and buy the magazine. I found a site with it still available on the second or third link I tried.

Hmmmm...... I looked for it and could find the magazine only as part of a lot on eBay for about $30 with shipping.

Could you post where you found your copy?

I TRIED to buy the magazine online this morning and all the places I checked were out of them.

Would you kindly post the link to WHERE they still have some of these Summer 2009 issues.

Thanks!

I see a quilt with rail fence blocks made with four strips. How in the world is that copyrighted?

I will never understand how they decide what is copyrighted and what isn't. And.. who are "they"?

Your quilt is gorgeous! I can see easily how to add a half-square triangle unit to one of the rail strips to alter the rail fence pattern that you provided (with permission).
Thank you so much for sharing your quilt!

I have no problem with a copy right being protected, but after a thread is like 14 pages long, what is left to protect? Anyway, it's one of the prettiest, easiest looking quilts on line.

As with many patterns, it's not rocket science & we can figure it out just by looking at the pics. Thanks to the quilt owner for sharing her 1st & 2nd quilt with that name.
