A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort
It's wonderful to spend time with grandchildren sewing, cooking, or whatever interest you can share with them!!! So many happy memories are created this way, and you are having a very positive impact on them, whether you see it now or not.

I believe UFOs are like scraps, ferns and dust bunnies. Once you get two, they send spores out into the air and more just happen anywhere the spores meet.
How lucky can you get. I would love to have a little quilting buddy again. Mine have grown up and moved away and I sure miss them.
Fabric is like money, no matter how much you have it's never enough.
Happy days for you and your two little ones. My GGC live too far away for me to teach them how to quilt. When we lived closer to my grandchildren, I taught my GD how to make a dress. She commented on that experience recently. It was approximately 20 years ago that we worked together on it. She did most of the work from cutting the pattern to sewing the fabric together. She was 6 years old at the time.![]()
