I have nothing to add - but with all of the above I have had a real experience.

Oh all so true!! I finished a project I really wasn't into doing today, so I can prep for the virtual quilt in tomorrow...Murphy's Law prevailed!!

Here's another one: you know that needle you threaded to baste your quilt, and how the phone rang so you just poked it thru the quilt and couldn't find it later? 50-50 chance that the vet will find it in your cat's stomach or your grandchild will punture herself with it the first time she uses the quilt.

A couple more:

You know when you dropped all those pins and picked them up. The pins you missed will find their way into DH bare feet -- in another room.

A rotary blade that is "closed" is just as sharp as an open one when you run your finger over the edge.

Just the lift I needed especially about the sewing machine acting up!

One funny post! Certainly puts things into perspective. Makes you wonder why we go through all this. We must soldier on because our stash is threatening to overtake our houses. Believe it's a conspiracy with the underwear gnomes.
