I would like to make a quilt for my best friend in CA. I see all kinds of bright fabrics and such that would be perfect but I can't seem to decide on a pattern. Can anyone help? I especially like MODA - Bliss. She has a pale, almost not pink bedroom and I would like something bright but not to bright, something you can see some of the material pattern in, but not too big of pieces. Help, I'm Lost!

maybe you should select two fabrics and then go from there. that is what I do. I let the fabric "talk" to me and tell me what it would like to be. There are many patterns that have a focus fabric and then blenders and smaller print fabrics around it. Things like stars and the one block wonder would work also if you just have one really cool fabric that you want to use. but it is up to you.

I have 20 bliss fat quarters and can't decide what to make either. I'll probably end up doing something very simple so the fabrics show up well (no small pieces, IOW).
