It has been awhile since I took the class but I think all 5 squares are the same size.

From what I remember from the chart in the book, the center square is a different measurement.

From what I could find on the internet - all the 5 squares are 10 inches.

I was thinking about the 5 minute block for the different size square. I have the book somewhere I'll look.

You can make a block any size you want using that technique. Personally, I would recommend 5" or larger. All 5 squares should measure the SAME SIZE.

She used layer cakes for all the blocks, so 10" squares 5 per block.

I just bought this book. I am going to make it with 10" squares with the material from the Pool Party by Willmington.

I can not wait to get started.
