Red face What is the name of this pattern - help please!!!

I really like the way this pattern looks and have all my fruit fabrics ready to go but need to know what this pattern is. I am trying to draw it up in EQ 7 and tried variable point but that is not it. Does anyone know what this pattern is?

Thanks in advance!

I am not familiar with it. Hopefully someone else will know. Looks like 60* diamonds. Great for an eye spy

I don't know the pattern, sorry. I, too, have a bunch of fruit prints for a quilt--it's nice to see how these look together.

There is one pictured here on the board called PICKET FENCE by Elsie Campbell. It was posted under the heading "Diamonds like an Accordian" Hope that answers your question==Think she posted another one later with flowered fabric diamonds that was beautiful.

Seems like I have seen a pattern like that (without the black) that was a chevron pattern. It is definitely diamonds arranged at angles. Have you tried the manufactures websites: RJR, Moda, etc?

Alas, I don't think EQ7 will be much help with that quilt. It allows for a few non-rectangular blocks and layouts, but not many. You might be able to fool it by using baby blocks, or custom set, but I don't think it would be worth the time and effort.

I think the fruit diamonds are 60 degrees on the pointy corners and 120 degrees on the other corners. (Think of them as two equilateral triangles joined at the side.) With that measurement, you should be able to make the quilt easily. I know I've seen that pattern made up, but can't find it online and don't know the name.

It's a chevron pattern. Here are a couple of links with some directions. Hope they'll help you out. That's a neat way to use a focus fabric!
