    I use jeans and twills and heavy drapery fabric and such for my shopping bags. Usually find some cheap one place or another.

    be sure to ask about 'Heat 'n' Bond'.... this is a clear product that can be applied to any fabric of your choosing... i have used it many times to make a 'wipe off' surface for high chairs that matches the dining room set.... it makes great diaper and beach bags possible...
