Does anyone with a Janome 6600 use the titanium needles? I thought I read about some having problems but I can't remember if those were the needles or not.

WOW! Thanks for the suggestion for the schmetz Microtexs!
I picked some up and it made me fall in love with my featherweight all over again.

I had been using my Juki DDL8700 (commercial type) and it was pulling at the end of the piece. The combo of the needle and the featherweight really fixed that and my seams are approaching perfect!

You guys are the best.

I just got my titaniums for the juki. Can't wait to try them. I bust the others so easily.

My machine isn't finicky so no matter what thread I use I don't have to change my needle. I normally use the inspira brand and I use either quilting or universal for everything; never had a problem
