She said the pattern Diamond Mine was at www.thequiltcompany.com. It was designed by Karen Montgomery.

Love the rag rug idea and have made a few lil-twisters. Want the ruler for the layer cakes but $20 is a bit high for plexiglass these days. (I have the charm size). I have several kits sitting in bins ready to be sewn (many for several years (yikes) ). Some are even cut so all I have to do is sew them together, but it seems like the "new must" make patterns get in the way. lol. I DO have to make a few e-reader/tablet covers for my girls but don't want to spend money on any patterns yet. I will keep my eyes/ears open for an easy free one. What I really need to do is to stay off this board (which shows sooo many "musts") and finish what I have. Just kiddin' and looking forward to the new treands.

I'm off to search for the cat bed. Mr. T will love it and if it's easy enough I'll make some for the shelter to sell when they adopt out a kitty. I'm all into helping the shelter these days - my favorite charity for this year. I usually do people charities. You all had some great ideas.

I'm into making door quilts for my front door. I'm aiming at doing one for each month of the year. My goal is to make a statement that "a quilter lives here". Future projects include Pat Halvorsen's calendar quilts.

I know there is a jellyroll quilt in my future just have to find the right jellyroll (on sale would be great) . Used most of two jellyrolls on the new years day mystery quilt but that was 'santuary' need to find a kids fabric one or a vegetable one or primary and secondry colors solids one ..... or i could use all the leftover pieces of binding that i have in a big pickle jar....iron them out....join them......thinking.......
This thread is messing with my resolution to finish UFO's and WIP and OIAB (objects in art bins)

That's a good question!! I was in on most of the trends, but now I am at a loss. I am going to go back through these pages and see what people are suggesting!!

I am totally hooked on all projects that use charm packs. Have a super list of projects that use them and am anxious to get started on them. I've been watching all the great deals offered on charm packs, Missouri Star Quilt Company has some fantastic deals, and my stash is ready to go. The other pattern I've seen everywhere, it seems that way, is the Twister.

I love Twister too! Where did you find a cactus and shamrock pattern?
