Default What new notion or sewing tool is on your Christmas wish list?

I need ideas for my wish list. My kids and DH shop for me off my wish list. I never know which one I will get. I usually put several Go dies to choose from because they are easy to order. We limit our gifts to one each to the kids and grands and to DH and myself. Of course I give 'extra' surprise gifts during the year but keep to the one gift rule for Christmas.

My last year Christmas gift was my Bernina #72 ruler foot and ruler set for my machine. Love it! And this year a couple of extra rulers to go with it.

I can always use fresh rotatory blades and a gift certificate to my favorite quilt store. That way, if I need something during the year, it is fun to go because it is a free shop day. I got the westalee rulers and new foot last year too tartan!

I think it would be fun to get a specialty ruler class paid for at the quilt shop too. There is nothing like learning from a pro to get you started using a foot or ruler.

Oh! I have been thinking of getting one of those light kits that attach to your machine to make winter sewing a little easier.

I'm not sure if they do this, but does Craftsy do gift certificates for classes? That might be an option.
A ruler foot and ruler starter kit.
LED light strip for your machine.

The Block-Loc rulers look like they might be useful/helpful.

What I would really like would be an assistant to help me go through my stuff and make what I don't care about go away. (Oh - that's supposed to be *me*????)

I've requested one of those vintage pop bottle sprinklers like my mom used to use for ironing. One with a metal sprinkling head; not plastic.

I remember those. We also had a "big" pop bottle that was quite the prize way back then.

Soda/pop was a rare treat when I was growing up. Kool-Aid and Watkins beverage flavors were what we had for "special" drinks.

Yep. Those sprinklers were great. Seems that I saw some in a magazine. I'll keep an eye out for them.

I'm going to Branson Mo after Thanksgiving to take the grands to Polar Express and Dixie Christmas Stampede. Visiting the quilt shop there, Quilts Quilts Fabric Shop is my Christmas gift. That shop is awesome. I like it better then Keepsakes Quilting Shop in NH (it's awesome too though) I plan several hours there to browse and shop for a quilting room gift for me.
