Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Don't feel bad Jan because I never heard of it either.
A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort
I've used it for baby change pads. My Janome didn't like it but my Juki had no trouble. Use a new needle in your machine and stitch correctly the first time as ripping out a line of stitching would leave a line of holes. The change pads washed up well and we hung them on the clothes line to dry.

I made a mat for my DGD when she was a baby. Instead of cotton backing I used Rip-Stop, similar to what spray jackets are made from. It doesn't make it waterproof but it's water resistant.
My daughter loved it for taking to the park. All her friends asked where she got it. I did a quilt for a friend's GS recently and put Rip-Stop on the back. I used polyester batting for the loft in both cases.
Rip-Stop is made of nylon.
UK.. .? Is this the fabric that is used in making water proof coats? I think it is used be Amy Butler in here patterns.
Here in UK pricey fabric.
Finished is better than a UFO
I just finished a coat for my granddaughter using it for the outside. I used minky for the lining. It's very soft and cozy. I used a walking foot to sew the PUL fabric. I love that stuff!!
Just worked with the PUL ....made changing pads......it's great grand baby season at out house !!
I made a rain coat for my dog . Its soft and not a hot as the laminated fabric. Its the only coat she will actually stand still and let me put on her.![]()
