I'm finishing a baby quilt for my SIL's sister that lives in Italy.
My SIL paid for the fabric and I picked the fabric and design.
Do I put my name on the quilt as the quilter and given by SIL?
Not sure what is correct. Thanks for your help.

I would probably put something like this:
Given to:
By:
Pieced and quilted by:
Date:
That would probably do it. It's whatever you want. Good luck. patti
you should also add the fiber content if you use poly batting (or some other fiber that should be added to the label along with the 100% cotton fabrics) and care instructions. i also add my city, state and USA on my labels.
I'd make a two labels. A large one with the giver's info and a small one with my info
I put This quilt was lovingly chosen by .......... and quilted by......... on the quilt that I made for my DD's SIL. I think both of you should be acknowledged.
I also include care labels, but I 'tack' them to the back of the quilt with a safety pin. Below is one link that sells them. Some are $1.29 each:Originally Posted by Crabby Patty
