I made a mistake from my previous reply. I think it was about 12 to 16 inch blocks. Each square block had a (8 side) stop sign shaped in strips. I previously said it was Octagon..But, maybe Hexagon. LOL Anyways, I noticed each side of the Hexagon/octagon??, was about a 2 in strip to fit the length of the side. Therefore, it started with 8 sides. Strips kept forming in this shape. I also noticed that the border of the quilt had bear claws on solid fabric. It's hard to describe and I can't find anything that looks like it.

It was I think they called it the feritility quilt. It was given to the couple by gamma when they arrived at his house in Alaska. Sandra kept throwing it off her ! LOL
Ah, now I remember it. Thanks for refreshing my memory. :D

I see quilts in movies all the time now! It's almost freaky how many artistic directors and set designers include them!

Watching the movie now and paused it. It's a pineapple block like this one:

The quilt in the movie appears to be more of a scrapbag quilt.

I own the movie. I know which part you're talking about. I'll pop it in and try to get a photo for the group.
