I have the sew one and you're done book. LOVE it...when I first got it I made LOTS of the quilts in the book. Found it really fun because you're working with large pieces! I think once you make one, you'll want to try the others. I think there's only a couple I haven't made! (Of course most of them still need quilted :)!) Have fun!

I went to the National Quilt Show on June 18, 2010 in Columbus, Ohio (my 1st National show) and had a blast.

I had been looking for a book that has information on charts to show # of blocks, binding etc. from different size pieces of fabric

I found one and the name of the book is:

Patchwork Minus Mathwork from House of White Birches from Berne, Indiana, book # 141301 for only $7.95

this is the link to the book if you like to see it

http://www.amazon.com/Patchwork-Minu...7016851&sr=8-1

Awesome book!

Oh I love that Sew One & Your Done book, I've made several from it that turned out so nicely

I recently bought Cozy Modern Quilts and Carrie Nelson's new book, Schnibbles II ... can't think of the title right now ! but it looks GREAT ... her patterns are just amazing to me, she comes up with so many good ones !!

Awesome book!
I was there too! Only I flew in from Florida. Had a great time, stayed with my daughter who lives in Columbus so we went together. We do it every year. It's really a great show!

8-)

This thread is going to get me in so much trouble. Wonder who started this, hey? Oh well. ;-)

I have 2 more on the way. 'The Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns: 4044
Pieced Blocks for Quilters' by Jinny Beyer and '5,500 Quilt Block Designs' by
Maggie Malone.

Jinny Beyr's book is fantastic. You will just love it!

I bought "Barbara Brackman's Encyclopedia of Applique: 2000 Traditional and Modern Designs, Updated History of Applique, Five New Quilt Projects!" Love this book.

I have both of these. Each one is excellent.
