Question What quilting tool is on your christmas wish list?

My DH has a hard time finding "something special" for me for Christmas. I really don't "need" anything, and he feels a present should be something you want. Please post your quilting wants on this thread to help give ideas to other signficant others who have a hard time with gifts for their quilting enthusiast. On my want list is a wood wall mounted ruler that I saw on one of QB posts.
Here is the website

What is on your list?

I want to take a few classes.

Tool wise, I want a "rainbow" set of fancy thread. I need more color range.

I want a cutting mat that has odd angles, diamonds, triangles, circle guides.

Not sure what else.

Oh and I need bobbins.

My new machine uses a specific size. I'm going to need a lot of them.

I told my DH about the magnetic screw and bolt, etc. pans that someone talked about on QB. He came home one day with 2 about 6" circular ones and 2 retangular (from the auto parts store) that are big enough to hold my scissors, ripper, etc., etc. They are both an answer for this rather unorganized quilter (when I'm quilting I concentrate on just that... until I need to find where I put the ripper, or little metal ruler, or...... The circular ones are soooo great for tossing pins into when pulling them out as I sew. Just toss them in that direction. I have 3 of the magnetic "pincushions you can get at the quilt store but they've all been dropped and are taped trying to hold the pieces together. The metal shop ones have stronger magnets AND they are heavier and I use them as weights when I need my quilt to be flat. Just like the LQS magnets you have to keep them away from the computer end of your sewing machine (which is no problem since I hit it close enough with a pin even if its 12" away)!

I'm going to watch this thread, you bet!

My Christmas gift is already underway. DH asked me if I'd like to enclose our small back porch for a sewing room, so after I thought about it a bit, I said yes, I'd love that! (I actually thought about it for oh, maybe 1.5 seconds! LOL) The contracter has already given us a quote (chi-ching), we have told him to move forward. He has to order the wall of windows - floor to ceiling - before he can get started, but it should be within a couple of weeks. It will be very small, but it will be MINE! So needless to say, I am not asking for anything else for Christmas. This will be the best Christmas gift ever ... with the exception of my sweet Gracie (my avatar!) My DH is a keeper for sure!

I want a Sue Pelland Leaves Galore ruler. Either the small or medium sized ones. I have always wanted to do scalloped edges on quilts and this will allow you to cut those and so much more. Just a little pricey to go out and purchase for myself and no one around here carries them. Shipping would probably be as much as the ruler. All the kids live in large metro areas so that is at the top of my list. Ann in TN
