I am looking for a log cabin pattern that uses narrower light strips and wider dark strips. I want the traditional square shape. Any ideas or places for pictures?

Thanks for your help

Sheila

Check out Judy Martin's Log Cabin book. I used this for my retreat a couple of years ago and it is one of the best quilt books I have ever purchased. It has the uneven log cabin blocks in as well as many other patterns AND a number of different layouts. The reading alone is worth the price of the book.

I have a couple of extras of this book on hand. If you are interested, please send me a private message and I can let you know about purchasing one.

Just got it at my local Half Price Books Store... It is GREAT!

Sheila what do you think of this one. I like it, changed my mind on the fabric so the 2.5 1st light is the wrong color.

You've had plenty of answers here but I just want to add that Marti Michelle "Log Cabin" quilt book has the pattern.
