i just wanted to share a story with you. My DB had asked me afew months ago if I wanted a sewing machine and cabinet. Of course, I said yea i'll take it, you just dont turn down a sewing machine.

We went to his house this past weekend to help with his pole barn raising. While the guys were out back doing their thing my DSIL and I were in the craft area doing our thing. She reminded me of the sewing machine she had for me.

So, there's no time like the present we were gonna go to the storage to get it.

A little history, my DM had been gone now for over thirty years, she was a crafter of all sorts and loved to so when she could. At the time I was very young 17 and didnt know how much things would mean to me when I got older.

She opened the storage unit, all i can say is WOW. Mom'sewing machine. needless to say the emotions ran crazy. I think we both cried and smiled and l thanked her for quite a while. I had no idea that it still existed!

A pic of my DH cleaing the exterior so diligently, how sweet we are going to service her and see if still runs.
