It's not a fabric, it's an expression. "In tall cotton or high cotton" meaning you don't have to stoop over as far to pick it.

I googled tall cottton fabric and looked at Marshall Dry Goods who use tall cotton in their description of a product. It is confusing. saying or a product....or both ????? that is the question.

Walking in tall cotton is a phrase, meaning you're fortunate because your crop has come in well and you don't have to bend over to pick it. However, Tall Cotton LLC is a manufacturer of broadcloth in St. Louis, and that brand is carried by Marshall Dry Goods. Make sense?

By the way, it would be a great name for a quilt shop.

Where do I find out more about this firm? I Googled Tall Cotton LLC to find it to be a construction management firm. I am bewildered.
