    Hi Everyone,

I was wondering what type of a Quilter are you?

I was reading this article and lots of catergories for quilters.

    http://with-heart-and-hands.blogspot...r-are-you.html

Which category do you fall in or more than 1??

    1. Traditional Quilter
    2. Folk Art Quilter
    3. Liberated Quilter
    4. Modern Quilter
    5. Art Quilter
    6. Fused Quilter
    7. Crazy Quilter
    8. Kit Quilter
    9. Machine Quilter
    10. Hand Quilter

You can be more than 1. This should be a fun topic! Enjoy!

I did not read the article, but I am guessing I am the lazy procrastinating type. Kinda helps if you know yourself, I guess.

OK, I am all of the above except for Kit quilter. I have only done one kit, and it was for a class that Frieda Anderson taught. It was great getting hand dyed fabrics for the artist herself, and it came out pretty.

I just like to quilt and I like all types of quilts.

You also forgot the "talks bout quilting more than actually doing the quilting" category. lol That's where I live lots of times.

Other than that, I am a Traditional Quilter with a twist.

Machine quilter and I suppose a combination of it all. I make what I like. I really like the strip quilts. Just NO hand quilting because my hands can't handle it.

is there an ADHD quilter category? that would be me. constantly distracted by other patterns, fabrics, quilt forums and rarely follow pattern directions as written.

That's easy for me - I'm a traditional, absolutely dedicated happy hand quilter!

I'd have to say traditional....I love the look of old quilts and the history behind them. I love using my tradle to quilt. I love hand quilting too. Makes me feel very connected with my ancestors.
