This year when I went shop hopping one of lqs gave us a booklet for a saving on something once a month for 5 or 6 months then it goes into a drawing for something on the last
month. This month is 20% off a package of batting.
My question is would you use this coupon or would you wait for joanns or someone to have a better sale, especially if you aren't ready to use it yet?
I am all for the drawing thing, but first I am not ready for to use the batting ( i do have something I am about 3/4 finished) and I still need to buy the backing for.
I think about the 50% sale Joanns has from time to time and then I just don't know what I want to do.

I would wait. Otherwise you are paying extra just for a "chance" to win something. The odds are against winning, whereas you have 100% odds of paying more for the batting than is necessary if you buy it now (before you actually need it).

Just my 2 cents.....

If you got there new flyer, mine had a 50 percent off coupon in it, and some 40 percent offs. If it were ME< I'd probaly buy it at JoAnnes, because our LQS mostly has Warm and Natural, and I hand quilt. I dont mind JoAnne stuff though.

You would probably get a better all around deal waiting for Joann's :D:D:D

JoAnn's has a 50% off coupon, valid 7/11 - 7/17. I got mine in the mail yesterday.

Great thanks everyone I will wait. I like and do shop there, but it isn't the one that I go to every week or month. I do love that store though.

I keep lots of batting on hand, when I need something I don't like to have to go it, so I have quite a stash of batting. Jo Anns would probably be better a deal.
