I'm so glad I started this thread. When I got frustrated this weekend, I remembered how many are all working on projects like me and I felt like I had commerades in arms.

I completely messed up the inner border on both the runners. I accidently used the the wrong color on both of them. I don't care. I kept them in cause they are so close to being done it's just not worth taking them all out. I'll call it the creative difference from the pattern or something.

I only have one left to cut and piece. Hoping everything will be done by next weekend so I can spend November quilting them.

Thank you for all your replies! Really inspired me to keep going.

Melissa

Finally finished the denim quilt for my oldest son...thank goodness. Probably won't make another one as they are so heavy to work on. It had 35 10 inch blocks and a 4 inch border all around. I lined the back with red fleece with little black paw prints on it. He came by last night and I gave it to him and he was really thrilled with it. (so Momma was thrilled) It will be so nice to cold nights.

I'll be sitting to my quilting rack embroidering designs onto a quilted recliner throw it took me all of two weeks to piece together in april this year. It is designated weekend work, because I have another quilt top to do during the weekdays.
